Brent Bobak started his martial arts journey in 1988 under his grandfather. He was introduced to boxing and judo. After showing promise his grandfather enrolled him in a karate and judo. From that day forward I knew I wanted to teach and share knowledge about martial arts. In 1993 Brent watched Royce Gracie win the First UFC and knew he needed this Jiu Jitsu. In 1996 I won his black belt in karate and judo. That same year he was introduced to kickboxing and got hooked. By the year 2000 Brent was featured on multiple local news broadcasts for martial arts, won multiple knockdown karate competition, and was an avid kickboxing instructor and competitor. That same year I met a friend who trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was always looking for people to train with. Brent agreed to roll with him and got choked multiple times. The 2 trained daily but Bjj schools were not in his area and you had to travel to learn via seminars … and they did. 2001, 09/11, Brent joined the military, becoming a paratrooper. He started training at his first Jiu Jitsu academy on Fort Brag. This was daily until 2005 when Brent returned home from military service. Previously in 2004 I suffered a parachuting accident where I broke kid back and legs. I have been reminding myself to be in a wheelchair and going to the gym and training from half guard. He always thanks God for Jiu Jitsu for helping him walk again. In 2006 Brent was home and training with some local guys. I have started competing in mma and helping others prepare. He has helped train 2 pro fighters and countless amateur fighters. Brent has continued to coach since. Today he is a Brown Belt under Professor Zezinho Mota, who has opened Brent’s mind to a bigger and deeper Jiu Jitsu. Brent teaches at and runs 7 Seas bjj Zezinho Mota Sharpsville,PA under His Professor Zezinho Mota, always looking to help people through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
